Taka helps organizations cultivate vibrant and engaged workforces (culture),nurture healthy work environments (climate) as well as navigate the constantly shifting market ecosystems (change).

He has an ability to blend business acumen and practical corporate demands.

He has been an instructor at the University of Calgary ContEd for over nine years (Management and Business Certificate Program) and has authored and facilitated various workshops on life and business.

Outside of work, Taka is an avid flight simulator pilot where you will find him flying all over the globe.

I am dedicated to bringing training strategies that invoke passion and fulfilment in people’s lives. I aIso enjoy motivating and inspiring vision in leaders through coaching and formulating training strategies for engaged teams.

Outside of work I enjoy running, hiking, spending time with family, designing and creating fun pieces on my sewing machine.

Jim Pitt is a dynamic and engaging Senior executive with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry under his belt. Jim’s career in telecommunications took off in 1985, when he was a pioneer in helping launch Cantel’s Cellular Service in Canada, which later became Rogers Wireless. His extensive background and knowledge in the industry provides a wealth of knowledge not only as a telecoms expert but also as a Senior executive leader. He went on to work at various organizations in a senior executive capacity, he held the title of Vice President of various businesses including Group Telecom, SaskTel and Shaw Communications.

Jim’s impact as a leader speaks for itself, throughout his career he worked to develop staff and business, motivate his teams and ultimately lead by example. Over the years Jim has recognized the importance of not only having vision to achieve success, but also the value of seizing opportunities when they are presented to you. It is through these principles coupled with a strong work ethic that throughout his career, Jim was able to skillfully hold the titles of Vice President, President and CEO. Throughout the years Jim has learned the importance of not only accepting change as it comes in the industry, but also to fully embrace it and take it in.

Bob Green is a coach, consultant and facilitator specializing in leadership development. He has over 20 years of experience, a Masters in Leadership and a Certified Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation. He has spent 1000s of hours designing, developing and delivering courses and coaching to leaders in a wide range of industries.

Bob has helped organizations and leaders accelerate the achievement of their most important goals through the development of critical leadership competencies; self-leadership, leadership of others and business leadership. Whether it be one-to-one coaching or group training, Bob’s passion for helping individuals and organizations achieve and be their best, combined with his knowledge and ability to develop the skills and knowledge that improve bottom-line results, have made him a highly effective coach, consultant and facilitator.

Heidi is highly motivated by meaningful connections, both with the TKB team and our cherished clients, and truly resonates with the TKB belief that People Matter. While she approaches her daily tasks in a meticulous and organized manner, she loves infusing fun and humor into her environment! 

Heidi’s career has equipped her with a diverse set of skills and has inspired her to pursue a path focused on improving the employee experience. Through a series of chance events, she landed the role of People and Culture Coordinator at TKB and believes she is exactly where she was always meant to be!

In her spare time, Heidi enjoys the outdoors with her family hiking, biking, and camping. The kitchen is her happy place, and she spends many hours cooking and baking for her loved ones. Her adventurous spirit feeds her passion for traveling and inspires her to dream big.

David is currently the CEO of VEERUM, a Calgary headquartered SaaS company that provides asset visualization and data aggregation solutions to the world’s leading energy, utility and mining companies.  He has recently raised $10 million in venture capital financing for the company as they continue to grow at an impressive pace.

Prior to VEERUM, David was responsible for building and managing critical data centres facilities for Shaw Communications Inc as VP and GM. He was responsible for overseeing the P&L, operations, key client relationships and product development. Previously, he was Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Rogers Communications Inc. and Executive Vice President & Co-owner for Pivot Data Centres (a high growth firm that was acquired by Rogers Communications Inc. in 2013).  He was awarded the honour of Alumni of the Year from Lakehead University in 2016.

Annalea is an influential security leader specializing in information security, governance, compliance and technology. She is well regarded for strategic security enterprise planning, analyzing business value, managing teams and developing partnerships.

She has experience leading a multitude of audits, contract negotiations and implementation of security solutions. Anna excels at promoting culture change to improve the security, privacy and compliance status of various healthcare, financial and Federal organizations. Anna exhibits strong communication skills and translates requirement languages across various executive, business and technical levels and is the CISO at Figment.
